Dear Friends and family,
We need your support now more than ever for our beloved friend Mandy. If you know her, you know her as a feisty redhead, loving mother, daughter and dear friend. Mandy has been fighting Melanoma and continues to show her resilience while still staying true to herself.
Brief history: In January of 2023 Mandy was diagnosed with Melanoma on her arm, she did a minor surgery to remove the cancer and a round of chemotherapy. After her first round the doctors ran blood work and she still had active cancer so they did a biopsy of her lymph node and sure enough there it was. She then did another round of chemotherapy and after that her PET scan came back clear. She was so grateful to be in remission but she was left with some hefty medical bills totaling over $4,000.00.
Fast forward to 2024…
At the end of May, Mandy received the news that her cancer was back and this time it was in her lymph node. She started Chemotherapy on May 28th. She has continued to work and has tried to push through on those hard days. She will have a break from her Chemotherapy starting June 18th and then will start her second round June 26th for another 21 days.
This past Friday she was in a car accident close to her house. She is bruised up but overall okay. Unfortunately, the person who caused the accident was uninsured and living in her car. Mandy’s car is totaled, she only had PL /PD insurance which is the state minimum requirement and also what she can afford as a single parent working three jobs.
Friends and family, we ask that you lift Mandy and her family up in prayer at this time and if you feel compelled to help financially, please donate! Any donations made here will go directly to Mandy’s account and will be used to help pay for current and past due medical expenses, loss of pay at her second job as well as a much needed vehicle. She just needs a break and hopefully we can all come together and make that happen.
Thank you,
