Hello! My name is Carrie and I am Mandy’s cousin. Long story short she found out Tuesday that she had a brain tumor and surgery was scheduled for Thursday morning. It was a large tumor on her left frontal lobe, a usually very debilitating location. We all know how strong Mandy is- there were signs but none were keeping her down. She worked with a persistent 3 month headache, dismissed vision changes and forgetfulness but finally gave in when she was vomiting. All the nurses, PA’s and specialists have been amazed by her, and so have us family members! We are asking for assistance to help bridge the gap between insurance and medical expenses for this emergency brain surgery. There will be several follow up appointments and I will keep you posted!
