Support Mandy Corrado During Breast Cancer Treatment

My former co-worker turned longtime friend, Mandy Corrado, has breast cancer and she needs your support. While thankfully she has insurance, it comes at a cost of $1,300 a month to cover her and her child. She is lucky to have a contract position that allows for a reduced work schedule, but this does not include paid time off, and the uncovered portion of the medical bills is already piling up….even before chemotherapy begins on April 3rd.

Any money donated will be used to cover lost wages, rent, bills, and gear and supplies for treatment (cold caps, cold mittens & socks, an ice maker, certain over the counter meds recommended for treatment.)

Mandy is an artist, a photographer, an entrepreneur, a mother, and a loyal friend. She is one of too many women I know who have faced this illness and one of too many women who must face this vulnerable and scary time with the added worry of financial strain. At a time when it feels like there is nothing to be done to turn things around in the world, let’s take the opportunity to surround Mandy with the same love and joy she radiates each day.
