Support Mandy, Jim and their new baby who weighs 2 pounds

This Fundraiser is for Mandy and Jim Scott who are experiencing a medical hardship. Mandy was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome at 29 weeks pregnant and is now at the University of Iowa hospital UPDATE: Mandy developed pre-eclampsia which led to Hellp syndrome and delivered at 29 weeks. Baby weighs 2 lbs 6 oz. 13.5 inches long. Born at 12:09 pm June 7, 2024.

We are asking for your support to help Jim and Mandy as they will be staying in Iowa City while the baby is in the NICU. Jim and Mandy will have a lot of extra expenses that will be adding up quickly. They have children at home that need to be taken care of. Jim will not be able to work during this time as he will be staying with Mandy and baby. Having help with home expenses such as food and gas will take some financial burden off the shoulders of Jim and Mandy as they focus on the health and wellbeing of mom and baby. We felt the need to create this page in hopes that the financial burden could be a little less. I understand that not everyone has the financial means to help, but SHARING their story and page is appreciated. Please PRAY for them and the baby. We will post updates daily.
