Hi, I’m Jay (Jay Win), originally from Mandalay, Burma, and now living in Australia.
My hometown has just been hit by a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake, leaving many homes destroyed and families without shelter, food, or medical care.
Thankfully, my family is safe—but so many others aren’t. With government corruption and limited resources, help isn’t reaching the people who need it most.
So I’ve decided to act. Directly.
I’ll be transferring all donations to my mom in Mandalay, who is working closely with trusted community members to prepare food, buy essential supplies, and deliver them straight to those in need. No middlemen. No red tape. Just real, immediate help on the ground.
Why I'm Doing This
This is something I’m doing from the heart—because I felt called to. I’ve already started with my own donation of AUD $1000, and I’ll continue to support with whatever I can.
If you feel moved to help, even a single dollar makes a difference. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this with others is just as powerful. As long as the message spreads to those who can help, you're part of this effort too.
Where the Money Goes
- Cooked meals and drinking water
- Basic medical and hygiene supplies
- Blankets and essentials for families sleeping outdoors
We’ll do our best to post photo or story updates whenever we can so you can see the impact of your support.
In times like this, local help is the fastest and most effective. Thank you for reading, sharing, or contributing in any way you can. You’re helping more than you know.
With love,
Jay
