Hi friends and family,

As many of you know, Mana was in a very bad accident while riding his bike on November 4. He suffered several serious injuries, including fractures in his legs and face. He was medevaced to Queens Hospital that same day to receive the care and treatment he needed.

This week, Mana will be having two major surgeries — one to repair his leg and another to help heal the fractures in his face. He is currently accompanied by his other half, Leicy Graves, his mom, Michele Keawe, and his dad, Shane Fujimoto. Even with everything he is going through, Mana is still in good spirits and continues to make us laugh with his jokes, showing the same light and strength we all love about him.

Right now, we are not sure how long he will need to stay in the hospital or how long his recovery will take after surgery. What we do know is that Mana has a long road of healing ahead of him. For now, Leicy, his mom Michele, and possibly his dad Shane will be staying with him on Oahu for the next couple of weeks to help him recover and support him through this difficult time.

If you know Mana, you know that he would never be the one to ask for help. He has always been someone who finds a way to figure things out on his own. But this time, he needs to focus fully on healing. Life in Hawaii can be tough, and as a family, we want to help take some of that financial stress off his shoulders so he can put all of his energy toward recovery.
