Support Mamma Andi's Recovery Journey

Hi guys, my name is Madison, but you can call me Madi. I have 3 siblings, and I'm the second born in our family. My mom is a single mom of 4 and has been the sole provider for our family since I can remember. She has always been the breadwinner, keeping food on the table, clothes on our backs, and a roof over our heads. She's worked her whole life and has built a great reputation for herself. She works in customer service, and all of her regulars love her and call her Mamma Andi. I've seen many people come and stay with us for a week to a month, just needing a place to sleep while they work out their issues. She's always the first one to stand up and offer help to anyone around her.

Recently, on the 10th of June around 7:45 pm, my mom and her boyfriend got in a motorcycle accident. They were on their way to bike night when the back tire blew going 80 mph on the interstate. Her boyfriend was able to take control of the bike and veered off towards the ditch, but when the back tire met the ditch, my mom went airborne and landed on her chest in the grass. Her helmet went flying, she lost her shoe, and she also wasn't wearing leathers and has some bad road rash. She broke her foot and tore something in her knee; we are still doing doctor's appointments to find out what is wrong. She's looking at 2 surgery's witch could put her out of work for 6 weeks. Her boyfriend is okay and has some road rash but is alive and well.

My mom does not have insurance and isn't the one to ask for help or take 'handouts.' We have asked the state for help, and since my mom works 2 jobs, she doesn't qualify for anything the state provides. Me (18yo) and my older brother (19yo) are working as much as we can to provide, but there is a limit on the hours we're allowed to work. So, I'm turning to the public for help.
