Within the last few months, my ride or die, the person whom gave me life and stood behind me with all my decisions to make my life's mission about supporting artists and bands has taken a turn for the worse. I do not want to publicly state what her health issues are out of respect for her personal privacy, but she is in need of a lot of support.

Me, I have my own growing health issues and I am unable to work as I used to be able to do. So I am treading water and now, I have my one and only to take care of.

My Mom does have health insurance but that does not cover co-pays and restructuring our home to be an environment that will help her be in comfort.

About my Mom, besides being a behind the scenes supporter of my vision for artists and musicians, she dedicated her life as a health care professional. She retired as someone whom put others health before her own and truth be told, she would probably be upset if she knew I was asking for help as she never wanted to ask for a leg up and always wanted to provide for herself.

The truth is, we need help as we navigate this new road. I refuse to put her into assisted care because she needs a familiar environment as well as to have her 2 dogs and 3 cats around her to remind her that she has love around her.

Believe me, this is the last thing I want to do, but I also need to be a vanguard for the best care and environment that I can provide for my number one superhero!
