2025 has been an incredibly hard year for my sister-in-law, Mallory, and my brother, Christopher.
They’re both hardworking people, but right now, they need a little help getting through a rough stretch.
Recently, Mallory was in a serious bicycle accident that left her with a broken elbow. She’s been to the surgeon and is now facing a long recovery that limits her ability to work.
To make matters worse, the accident happened the same day her car broke down and ended up in the shop for repairs. That's why she was riding the bike! Between medical bills, transportation costs, and lost income, this has created a huge financial strain.
This would be difficult for anyone, but it’s especially hard because Christopher has been recovering from a spinal fusion surgery he underwent in late 2024.
He couldn't work for around nine months and now works a few days a week while continuing multiple therapy services to help with his recovery. During his recovery, Mallory worked around 70 hours a week to keep them afloat. Now, with her own injury, that’s just not possible.
Mallory originally set out to raise $5,000 to help cover medical bills, car repairs, and lost wages while she heals.
I’ve increased the goal to $6,500 to give them a little extra cushion — enough to breathe, cover the unexpected, and focus on getting well without added stress.
Please consider donating or sharing their story. Prayers are also very appreciated.
Every contribution — big or small — makes a real difference. I know it's hard for them to ask for help, but it's times like these when community support makes all the difference.
Thank you so much for helping two people who truly deserve some relief and a chance to get back on their feet.
With gratitude,
Susan
