My name is Amy Biggerstaff. I am the mother of Maliyah Brooks. My beautiful daughter had a babygirl April 03, 2025. My granddaughter Ni'ayla Brooks passed April 09, 2025. This was not expected and happened so quicky. Our hearts are broken and we are unable to take on all the unexpected expenses. My daughter wants to lay her sweet babygirl to rest in peace and she needs to be able to grieve and not have to worry about how to make this happen financially. Our family is hurting so deeply. No mother should ever have to bury her newborn baby especially being only 18 yrs old. She had spent 6 days with her baby; 3 days we thought she was healthy while the other 3 days we sat next to her in NICU watching her fight for her life. Which was devastating. She was born at 6lbs 2ozs beautiful as ever. Her organs shut down so quickly her little body couldn't fight anymore. Ni'ayla Brooks took her last breath at 5:52 a.m. on the morning of April 09,2025. Please help my daughter lay her baby to rest. Thank you!
It's a day before Ni'ayla service. I want to make sure Maliyah has a beautiful tombstone to visit her baby. I'm sure Maliyah will not be returning to work anytime soon. Maliyah will be needing on going therapy this is a very traumatic situation. Maliyah relives her daughter taking her last breath in her arms every time she closes her eyes. How do you learn to cope with all that pain at a young age? I would do anything to switch places with her. Thank you for all the donations so far you have no Idea how much it means to us for everyone that has donated. We are very thankful.
