Hi, my name is Malik Haynes.

I've been a personal trainer for 8 years. My passion was spreading health and wellness. I took pride in making others feel healthier and fit. Unfortunately, in 2022, I was diagnosed with ANCA vasculitis disease, which is a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in small and medium-sized blood vessels that begin to attack my kidneys. With treatment, I was able to put the disease in remission and continue my passion as a personal trainer. However, in 2023, my life changed drastically and I was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), which is a chronic kidney disease that causes scarring in the kidney's filtering units. I'm currently at end-stage kidney failure with the prayer of receiving a kidney transplant that will save my life. This disease has completely affected my life in multiple ways.
