Support Malik Barkor's Wrestling Journey

**UPDATE: I increased our goal amount to $750 in hopes of making some extra money for the wrestling team. Thanks for all the generosity so far!**

Malik Barkor just completed his senior year at Penn Wood High School where he was a standout student, accomplished athlete, member of the band and all around excellent community member. Next year he will continue his academic and wrestling career at Arcadia University. We hoped to provide Malik with a practice mat that he could use over the summer in preparation for his upcoming season. Unfortunately, budget cuts to the Penn Wood athletic department have left the wrestling team budget devoid of extra funds. We are trying to raise enough money to cover the cost of one of these mats (roughly $500 with shipping) to provide Malik with this opportunity. The plan is to have Malik pass his mat down to future college-bound athletes, keeping this opportunity for post-season conditioning alive into the foreseeable future. Any funds collected beyond the goal would be put toward paying for additional practice mats or be donated to the general wrestling team fundraising account to be used for equipment and tournament fees. We appreciate all the support in helping this upstanding young man, and future athletes that will come after him.
