Support Malerie in Vet Costs for Mabel

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts as we rally around our dear friend Malerie, who has recently faced an unimaginable loss. Her beloved cat, Mabel, passed away unexpectedly, leaving a void in her life that words cannot fully express. Mabel wasn’t just a pet—she was Malerie’s constant companion, a source of comfort, and a beacon of unconditional love. She was much more than a cat; she was a mom to many of the fosters Malerie has cared for over the years. Mabel was everyone’s favorite cat, winning hearts with her adorable wobbles and her one adorable ear.

Malerie found Mabel under a deck about 9 years ago, nearly frozen, and brought her back to life, showing her what love truly is. From that moment on, their bond became unbreakable. Mabel has been with her on this foster and rescue journey since the beginning days.

For over a decade, Malerie has been deeply involved in animal rescue. Through her unwavering dedication, she has touched the lives of our community and, if not thousands, countless animals. Many in our local pet community know her from her work with Pet Rescue League and PAWS, where she has selflessly volunteered her time and energy to save animals in need, no matter the kind. Now, it’s our turn to support her in her time of need.

As anyone who has loved and lost a pet knows, the emotional toll is profound. But beyond the emotional pain, there are often unforeseen financial burdens. In Mabel’s case, emergency veterinary bills accumulated quickly as Malerie did everything in her power to save her. Now, she faces significant expenses that she hadn’t anticipated.

We’re coming together to support Malerie during this difficult time. Our goal is to help her cover these costs and give her the space to grieve without the added stress of financial strain. Your contributions will go directly towards:
