Hello everyone! I'm Maleah!
Last year, I had the opportunity to attend a discipleship training school with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Japan. I fell in love with Japan! Being fully immersed in the culture, I studied the language and history, indulged in the most delicious food, explored the beautiful nature of Japan, and most of all, got to experience living with such amazing people from all over the world for 5 months!
In this next season of my life, I have decided to attend a secondary school under YWAM called School of Biblical Studies (SBS). SBS is a Japanese/English bilingual 10-month immersive course within Youth With A Mission, University of the Nations. We will study the 66 books of the Bible through an inductive approach - to observe what the text says in the correct historical context, interpret, and then make it applicable to today!
I chose to do this school to be more biblically literate & equipped to teach the Bible! I work in the film industry as an actress and I believe that my industry needs the light of Jesus desperately. I want to help create entertainment that glorifies the Lord! My goal is to work with ministries and programs in the industry, that help teach scripture and reflect scripture in the content we produce!
This next year will grow my faith in The Lord, grow my understanding of the Bible and prepare me to go out in the world and share the Word confidently & help grow the Kingdom of God!
Im currently fundraising roughly $9,000!!
This includes tuition, room, board, etc.
My school fees are due in three quarters:
1st Quarter - $2,400 (May)
2nd Quarter - $3,000 (Aug)
3rd Quarter - $3,000 (Nov)
