Support Malak's Urgent Medical and Shelter Needs

Donation protected
Hello
I'm Jamie, and I am trying to help my friend Malak raise money for a tent for her family to live in Gaza and medication for her kidney and diabetes treatment. I have been in contact with her and messaging with her personally for many months. I care about her and right to survive in the midst of a crisis.

Malak's father has been badly injured and is no longer able to provide for his family, nor is there any work. Malak was a teacher before, but there are no longer schools in Palestine, and her family's tent was burned by grenades and missiles launched into Palestine, leaving them without shelter or safety. It is cold and rainy, and Malak is sick, as are other members of her family.
Please PLEASE donate any amount to help this family.
They just want to eat, survive, and be healthy like everyone else, and they deserve our help and the chance to live, no matter your beliefs.

Every cent of this fundraiser goes directly to her account. Malak and her family urgently need a proper tent as winter is approaching, and heavy rain is already flooding their current shelter.

Malak’s Story — In Her Own Words

“I am Malak Bilal, a 26-year-old writer and former teacher from Gaza. My words have always been my way of expressing the suffering we endure, but this time, words are not enough to describe what we are going through.

I lost a large part of my family as a result of the bombing, and many of my loved ones were martyred. I now live with what remains of my family in a small tent — without shelter, without a provider, and in extremely harsh conditions. We lack even the most basic necessities of daily life.

Despite all this pain, I still have hope that we will one day live with dignity, laugh, dream, learn, and feel safe again.

That is why I am asking for your support: so I can continue on this path and regain the security that was suddenly taken from me. Please help me live with dignity and hope, develop my writing talent, and continue my journey despite all the challenges.”
Why Your Support Matters

Malak is an incredibly courageous young woman who is fighting to keep her family safe under unimaginable circumstances. A stronger, weather-resistant tent will give them:
• Shelter from the winter cold and flooding
• Safety and privacy
• A stable space to sleep, cook, and live
• A chance to rebuild some dignity and security

Even the smallest contribution makes a meaningful difference.

I am very sick. I went to the hospital in the middle of the night last night. I was screaming from the pain; I couldn't breathe. The doctor took blood samples and analyzed them, and he took an X-ray. I have a blood clot in my left lung and kidney failure. He also discovered that I have diabetes. I cried a lot. I thought this disease only happened to the elderly. I need insulin injections, but they are sold in pharmacies at high prices. I need to find work. I graduated with honors, but I can't find a job because the occupation destroyed the schools. I used to be a teacher and earned a very good salary. Now I will die because I don't have money to buy the medication I need. I am afraid of dying. I need your help. I have to take insulin injections twice a day. I need money to buy them regularly. Can you help me? I feel like a beggar. I don't want to die. I have never suffered from any illness before. There is also a possibility that I will have to have dialysis. I can't believe that I will live with this forever.
