My name is Kelsie and I am helping to organize this for my dear Friend Stormi who lost her son Malaki on September 22, 2024. Malaki's family needs help paying for funeral expenses totaling about $17,000.

July 6, 2010 – September 22, 2024

Our beloved son, Malaki Allan James Porter tragically left us on Sunday morning September 22nd at the age of 14. He is survived by his mother Stormi Hass, stepfather Cody Sagers, father John Porter, sister Sighlee Garcia, as well as four brothers and one other sister, nana Barbara, papa Ed, grandpa Gordon, papa Dave, grandpa Reeder, grandpa Kevin, grandma Jaclynn, grandma Stephanie, great grandma Gordon, Great grandma Bates, aunty Hope, aunty Taya, aunty Ber (Amber), aunt Lacey, uncle Dylan, uncle Shay, uncle Ryan, uncle Brock and many more grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his older brother Sieruz, grandmother Denise, great grandfather Bates, great grandfather Gordon, grandpa Huxford, grandpa Porter, grandpa Winston and many other loved relatives and friends.

Malaki came into this world unexpectedly at 35 weeks on July 6, 2010 ready to grab the world by the horns. Although he had many health problems at the beginning, he was able to overcome the challenges life threw at him. Having some disabilities never stopped Malaki from living life to the fullest. He accomplished bull riding, saddle bronc riding, won medals from the special Olympics, and harvested his first cow elk all in the Fall of 2023. Malaki’s happy place was being outside. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, riding horses and four wheelers, dirt biking, taking care of all of his livestock, and his “chamairz.” Malaki had a heart of gold and loved going out of his way to help anyone in need. He always made sure to make guests feel welcome when they would come over by cooking them food and grabbing anything they needed. He loved teaching people how to fish, especially fly fishing. Malaki was always eager to learn and was extremely excited for esports, welding, and FFA.

Malaki will be loved and missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know his beautiful soul. We would like to thank Duchesne high school, Dalton Hoopes Funeral Home, and the outpouring love from family and friends.
