Hi, my name is Breanna, and I’m reaching out for support for my sweet 2-year-old son, Malakai.

Recently, our lives were changed drastically when Malakai was diagnosed with Malignant Ependymoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. No parent is ever prepared to hear those words — and in an instant, everything we thought we knew about our future shifted.

Malakai has already gone through a major brain surgery to remove the tumor. He showed a strength far beyond his years. Seeing him go through something so intense at such a young age has been incredibly difficult, but we are so proud of how resilient and brave he has been.

Now, we are preparing for the next phase: radiation treatment, which will be essential in reducing the chances of the cancer returning. This part of the journey will involve frequent travel, temporary relocation near the treatment center and some time away from work while we focus our time caring for our baby.

As we navigate this challenging road, we’re asking for support — whether through donations, shares, or simply prayers and words of encouragement.

Malakai is a bright, curious, and loving little boy. He loves dinosaurs, toy trucks, and cuddles with his blanket before bedtime. He brings joy to everyone who knows him, and we are doing everything in our power to make sure he has the chance to grow up strong and healthy.

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to that goal — and every share helps us reach someone new who might be able to support Malakai’s journey.
