This weekend, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My sister, Erica, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at just 37 years old.

Her passing was sudden and completely unexpected. There were no plans or financial arrangements in place, and we are all heartbroken to have lost such a beautiful soul so soon.

Erica’s greatest love was her son, Malakai.

Malakai at just 13, has already faced the loss of his father a few years ago, and now he is navigating life without both of his parents. No child should have to endure that kind of grief.

Our mom and grandmother will be stepping in as his guardians, and our entire family is committed to surrounding him with love, stability, and support. We are raising funds to help provide for Malakai’s immediate needs, ongoing living expenses, counseling and grief support, school and sport related costs, and long-term stability as he grows.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward supporting Malakai’s future and ensuring he has the care and opportunities he deserves.
