My name is Malachi, and I am a full-time college student at the University of California Riverside. As someone deeply passionate about helping lower income families and minority groups, I am working hard to become an LMFT or psychologist. My dream is to use my education to uplift and support communities impacted by structural oppression and violence, and to persist in activism and awareness for those who need it most.
Balancing my studies, a minimum wage job, and active participation in multiple clubs and organizations has been both rewarding and challenging. Unfortunately, the rising costs of college have made it difficult to keep up with all my expenses. My financial aid does not cover everything, and there simply aren’t enough hours in the day for me to earn what I need while staying committed to my education and extracurriculars.
I am reaching out for support to help cover essential costs like textbooks, dining plan fees, and other tuition-related expenses. Any help I receive will also go toward reducing my loan debt, allowing me to focus on my studies and my goal of making a difference in the world. Any support you can offer would mean the world to me as I work toward my degree and future goals.
