Hi, Jan Labate here. This fundraiser is an honor of our dear friend Malachi Hoade who passed away in early November. His wish was to be back home in California with friends and to be scattered at sea out of the harbor he loved so dearly. To that end I have taken care of his cremation and arrangements to ship him home. A celebration of his life will happen at a later date when friends are able to gather together and share food and stories. Any amount you can contribute, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated.
