Makoy’s funeral and expenses

Hello everyone, my Name is Morena and I have created this GoFundMe for oldest my brother Heherson (Makoy).

Makoy and Jacel, my niece, were involved in a horrible car accident recently. My family and I are here to help Makoy and his wife July, as we know that this terrible event will bring many unexpected expenses for them that they will not be able manage on their own.

You may already be aware that my brother Makoy suffers from various health problems. He has diabetes and kidney failure, which require him to undergo dialysis three times a week. Even with these conditions, he was still working part time as an Uber driver before the horrific car accident to help support the family.

On Monday, June 17th at 9:05 pm as Makoy was on his way to drop off our niece Jacel at her house. At this moment, a car that had been stolen by two reckless teenagers hit their car as they were fleeing from the police. The authorities believe the stolen car was traveling at speeds of 80 to 100 mph when it collided with brother and niece, altering their lives forever in that instant. In addition, before anyone could prevent it, they were hit again by two more vehicles further damaging my family and adding to their life threating injuries and trauma.

We are very relieved that they are alive but they both face huge challenges. My brother Makoy has many broken bones and internal damages has undergone multiple surgeries, with more to come. The severity of the injuries prevented the doctors from completing the procedures at one time due to his critical condition. Makoy has received multiple blood transfusions and is currently still on an oxygen machine to help him breath. As of this time, we are unsure of how long he will be in the hospital. All we know is that he will have a long and painful journey ahead. Even when he leaves the hospital that will only signify the beginning as he will need extensive rehabilitation and therapy to help him heal and learn to walk again. Until then he will be bound to a wheelchair and dependent on his family and friends for basic needs and support.

We are asking our friends and families to help in whatever way they can. Our, family will be forever grateful for your help. All the money raised will be going towards his medical bills and other recovery related expenses such as rehab and therapy, etc. We thank you so much and I hope you have a blessed day.
