Hello, everyone! This is Mako, a 5-year-old Siberian Husky! Normally, he's an extremely vocal dog who always says what's on his mind but loves to relax, watch TV, and have fun with his sister. He recently was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in his right knee and has a cranial cruciate ligament-deficient stifle joint, which is the dog equivalent of an ACL tear. As he's still a young dog, surgery has been recommended to ensure he has a good quality of life as he ages and to keep doing what he loves best. With plans to have the surgery in April, I'm asking for help to cover a portion of the medical cost as I'm juggling moving, school, and work. Any help is greatly appreciated as all the funds will go towards the total cost of surgery, which covers postoperative radiographs and medication as well.
