Support Making of Women in Ministry Documentary
Donation protected
Hiya, My name is Marcia Dixon MBE and for many years I have shared the stories of individuals, gospel artists, charities and churches within Britain's African and Caribbean faith community, firstly through a column called Soul Stirrings in The Voice newspaper, and latterly as Editor of Keep the Faith magazine.
I enjoy writing stories about the role of faith in peoples lives, and the impact people of faith make in the wider community.
For most of my working life, I have focused on sharing stories via the written word, but since taking over Keep the Faith I am keen to embrace other forms of media including documentaries.
With this fact in mind I have started work on a documentary which aims to highlight the role Christian women play as church leaders, speakers, founders of charities and much much more.
The women featured in this documentary - the first of its kind - include a young pastor who provides spiritual leadership to Millennials and Gen Z; a church leader who organises an annual awards event to celebrate the achievements of Christian women and who also runs an orphanage for children in Nigeria and a professional high-flyer who has set up a NGO to combat period poverty in Ghana.
It's my hope that this documentary not only spotlights the work and accomplishments of women within the church, but also inspires women in the pews to fully utilise their God given talents to serve others.
I aim for this documentary to be the first of many created by Keep the Faith magazine to record stories from within the black Christian community to inform, motivate and serve as a legacy record for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
So if you would like to help me finance this initiative I would be very grateful and appreciative.
Your donation will go towards paying for the editing of this documentary so that it can be screened.
I do hope that you are able to support this initiative.
Thank you in advance
