Hello my name is Makena and I am starting my college journey in New York! I have dedicated my life to sports and my education and have been grateful enough to have my schooling covered. Despite that, I am still left with the fee of housing. My parents are paying and raising three other children and work over 10 hours and still barely make enough to get by. I want to take the stress away from my parents and not have them focus on this extra expense and focus on my siblings and themselves. Whatever is donated is greatly appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you
