Our dear friend Makeba is facing Stage IV ovarian cancer. She’s about to undergo intensive chemotherapy and, hopefully, surgery treatments that are both physically and financially challenging. If you know Makeba, you know she’s the kind of person who shows up for others quietly, consistently, and without asking for anything in return.

Makeba is a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and true friend to so many.

We’ve set up this fundraiser to help cover her medical bills and living expenses while she’s going through chemotherapy.
