Hello, My name is Makeba and on 6/21/24, I will present Decolonizing Adult Education: A Sankofa Literature Review of 7 African American Adult Educators (1863-1964) at the Pan-African Pentecostal Symposium. This symposium will provide me with a platform for global networking and professional development.

But even doctoral fellows gotta' eat (and have an outfit made for my dissertation defense). In full transparency, I raised the funds needed for the study tour, registration, accommodations and flight. However, I am cash-strapped for meals and spending money.

The trip represents a crucial milestone in my academic journey, one that will significantly contribute to my understanding of decolonizing research and its practical applications.
