My name is Alexandria, & on October 1st, my best friend Makayli’s life was turned upside down when their home was completely destroyed in a devastating fire. If you know me, you know that I am extremely close with the entire family and they are very dear to my heart. They lost everything in a matter of minutes—clothes, furniture, and all of their belongings. Most importantly, they are safe, but they now face the unimaginable challenge of starting over with their 1-month-old baby.

As you can imagine, caring for a newborn is already overwhelming, and now they’re doing it without the security and comfort of a home. They need essentials like baby clothes, diapers, and a safe place to sleep. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them rebuild and provide stability for them & their little one during this incredibly difficult time.

Additionally my bestfriend is currently a freshman at the Culinary Institute of America in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is working extremely hard on her studies & this tragedy is extremely sudden and an added stressor as a college student.
