Support Makayla's Pre-Veterinary Program Trip to Australia

Hello everyone!

My name is Makayla and I was recently accepted into a pre-veterinary study abroad program in Australia! Coordinated by Loop Abroad, this two-week program is stationed at Walkabout Wildlife Park, a wildlife animal sanctuary outside of Sydney. While in Australia, I'll be working with experienced veterinarians during physical exams, necropsies, laboratories, and lectures. These activities and demonstrations will allow me to interact with kangaroos, wombats, koalas, flying foxes, and more. On the program's free days, I'll be able to explore nearby coastal towns and spend two days in Sydney! This program will undoubtedly shape my future as an aspiring veterinarian, along with deepening my understanding of veterinary practices.

I am incredibly excited to embark on this journey in July, but the program's tuition comes at a cost. The base tuition is $3,950, not including airfare, which is why I have brought my story to this platform. Any donations or support are greatly appreciated, and all proceeds will help fund my trip.
