My name is Makayla Curley, and I am a freshman at Bowie State University. I am majoring in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Science and minoring in Cybersecurity.

I’ve worked hard to get here, and Bowie State is where I truly want to grow, learn, and build my future. However, in order to continue my education and remain enrolled, I must submit my final high school transcript—and I currently have an $8,000 balance standing in the way.

This debt is preventing my transcript from being released, which puts my college journey and all I’ve worked for at risk.
