Support Makayla Parks' Recovery and Her Daughter

My name is Makayla Parks. I’m 23 years old, and I have an 11-month-old daughter. While out with friends this weekend, I was shot in the thigh at close range by somebody I thought was a part of my friend group. They then fled the scene. The bullet went through my thigh and out through my kneecap. In the process of getting shot, it broke my femur. I had surgery and now have a rod from my hip to my kneecap.

I will most likely be out of work for a month or two. And my daughter’s birthday is at the end of this month, November 30th. I am so lucky and blessed to be alive to make it to that party. But the downfall is that I won’t be able to be mobile and work to provide for me and my daughter. If anybody could donate anything to help with medical bills, prescriptions, and to support me and my daughter, I would be forever grateful. Thank you in advance.
