In Loving Memory of Major Michael F. Rumore, USAF (Ret.)

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Major Michael F. Rumore, a beloved husband, father, friend, and proud 20-year active duty and reserve duty veteran of the United States Air Force. Michael passed away unexpectedly during treatment for colon cancer, leaving behind not only a deep void in the lives of those who loved him, but also significant medical expenses and an unprepared widow now facing the loss of VA benefits.

Michael dedicated his life to serving his country with honor, integrity, and strength. He will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery with full USAF honors — a fitting tribute for a man who gave so much in service to others.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden on his family and ensure that Michael receives the meaningful memorial he deserves. Funds raised will go toward covering costs for his celebration of life, final arrangements, and outstanding medical bills from his cancer treatment. Any funds not used will be donated to a Veterans-focused charity.
