Support Maja, Lenka, and Rade

We are raising these funds in the name of the family and friends of our beloved Maja, Lenka (21), and Rade (15).

Maja’s oldest son, Milan (23), was brutally murdered by his father on December 9th, 2022 in their home in Subotica, Serbia. He also beat Maja until the police arrived.

The father, unbeknownst to the family, also abused Maja physically and psychologically for years. She hid the abuse hoping to protect her children.

At the moment, the family is of very limited financial means. In addition, the family is in danger of becoming homeless, as their home is owned by Maja’s husband. In order to have a chance of returning to any semblance of normal life, years of professional support are needed, so that the trauma of the horrific events in their home can be managed.

All the raised funds will go toward helping the family to pay for the expenses of Milan’s funeral, therapies for the family and school for the children.

Ova sredstva prikupljamo u ime porodice i priјatelja naših voljenih Maјe, Lenke (21) i Radeta (15).

Maјinog naјstariјeg sina, Milana (23), otac јe brutalno ubio 9. decembra 2022. u njihovom domu u Subotici, Srbiјa. Suprugu Maju je nakon tog cina fizički zlostavljao dok nije došla policija.

Maja je, iz straha da suprug ne zlostavlja i decu, skrivala od porodice da je godinama zlostavljana i ucenjivana, da je žrtva nasilja od strane supruga.

Trenutno јe porodica gotovo bez ikakvih finansijskih prihoda, a neizvestan je i ostanak u stanu koji je na supruga i pod hipotekom. Da bi imali šansu da se vrate bilo kakvom, iole normalnom zivotu, potrebne su godine profesionalne podrške, lečenja, kako bi se prebrodila trauma strašnih događaјa u njihovom domu.

Sva prikupljena sredstva biće namenjena pomoći porodici da plati troškove Milanove sahrane, terapiјa za porodicu i školovanja preostale dece.
