Support Maisie's fight against Leukemia

Hi everyone

I have set up this page with the hope of raising some funds to help a good friend and her family in the local community.

In December, the Rennicks family's world was turned upside down when their youngest child Maisie, was diagnosed with Leukemia. She immediately started vigorous treatment in Crumlin Children's Hospital, where she spent several weeks. It was a very stressful time for her parents Stephaine and Jason, particularly as she missed Christmas day at home with brother Milo and her sister, Mollie. The extended family have been a great support keeping things as normal as possible for them. Fortunately, just after her 5th birthday, Maisie came home and now she continues her treatment on an out-patients basis in Crumlin Hospital. She receives therapy for four consecutive weeks at a time, followed by a rest period in between.

The aim of this page is to help with the extra costs this family faces during the weeks and months ahead (daily transport to and from Crumlin Hospital, parking charges, tolls etc) and the day to day expenses that they face, since Maisie's mother, Stephaine, has been on leave from work in order to care for her little girl.
