Support Maisie's 2025 Borneo Conservation Project

In Summer 2025 at the age of 15, Maisie will be travelling to Borneo in Asia along with a few others from her school to take part in a 4 week community, wildlife and conservation project with Camps International.

While they are away, they will help to protect the environment through long-term conservation projects. They will live in the heart of a rural village and work hand in hand with locals to tackle real needs.

Some of the projects they could be getting involved in are helping to build classrooms, constructing and refurbishing community buildings and installing water storage systems.

There will also be a 5 day trek, where they will sleep in a hammock surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle and help to protect orangutan habitats by replanting native trees.

Following the trek, they will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre.

Students are encouraged to raise the funds for the exhibition so this page has been set up to help contribute to the total cost of £4840.
