Hi everyone,

My name is Gail, and I am writing this on behalf of our beloved friend, Maile. Maile is a bright, vibrant, and caring individual who has touched the lives of so many people with her kindness and generosity. Unfortunately, Maile has been diagnosed with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that has gradually robbed her of her ability to move and function independently.

Despite the challenges she faces, Maile remains incredibly strong and positive, never letting her condition dampen her spirit. However, as her mobility decreases, getting around has become increasingly difficult and exhausting for her and her family. A wheelchair-accessible van would be a game-changer for Maile, allowing her to travel to medical appointments, visit friends and family, and participate in community events with much greater ease.

The cost of such a van, along with the necessary modifications, is substantial and beyond what Maile and her family can afford on their own. This is why we are reaching out to you, our generous friends, family, and community members, to help make this dream a reality for Maile.
