My dear friend Maile was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This news has been unexpected and overwhelming, and she is now facing a long road of chemotherapy, surgery, and recovery.

Maile is currently in graduate school pursuing her MFA in Choreography. She has poured her heart into her art, dedicating herself to creating meaningful work and building a future in the dance world. As a full-time grad student, she is already balancing tuition, living expenses, and the demands of her program on her own. Now, with the added weight of medical bills and time away from school and work for treatment, the financial strain feels especially heavy.

Anyone who knows Maile knows how passionate, creative, and giving she is. She brings so much beauty and intention into everything she does, and she has always shown up for the people around her. Now she needs us to show up for her.
