Hi! My name is Maia Coyle, and I’m fundraising for a 5-week Coral Renewal Internship in Koh Tao, Thailand, a program focused on restoring and protecting coral reefs through hands-on conservation and research.
Across the world, coral reefs – the “rainforests of the sea” – are dying. Rising ocean temperatures have caused mass bleaching events, leaving once-vibrant coral reefs pale and lifeless. Together, we can rebuild the reef.
The full cost of the internship, which includes training, food, accommodation, flights, and materials, is $8,000. My goal is to raise $4,000, and I’m covering the other half through my own savings and work.
Your support will fund my time in Koh Tao when the internship begins on February 22, 2026, enabling me to help rebuild coral nurseries, support marine research, and contribute to efforts that give coral reefs a chance to survive and thrive again.
Thank you for partnering with me to protect the ocean we love.
