28-year-old software developer & computer engineering student from Al-Shajaiya, Gaza City, Palestine

My Family

I come from a family of six:

Father: Sobhi, living with diabetes and high blood pressure

Mother: Iman, also battling diabetes and hypertension

Older brother: Mohammad, a talented programmer who worked alongside me to support our family

Second brother: Ahmad, always standing by our side

Sister: Ruba, the youngest, whose dreams were shattered by the war

My Story

 I am writing to you with a heavy heart but an unbroken spirit. Before the war, I was living my dream:

“Working as a Flutter app developer, freelancing for international clients, and supporting my family through technology and hard work.”

I poured passion and dedication into every project—building not just a career, but a future for my parents, siblings, and myself.

The Tragedy

Then, in a single night, an airstrike destroyed our home and took everything I worked for:

-My laptop

-Internet access

-All my tools

-With them, my income and stability

My family and I have been left displaced—struggling without safe shelter, without electricity, and without the means to rebuild on our own.
