In the heart of conflict, where bombs fall relentlessly, and the sun is barely visible due to the smoke of war, Mahmoud and his niece Layan live. Every day brings new challenges: constant shelling, difficulty obtaining food and water, and schools closed due to the siege. Yet, in the midst of this darkness, hope still beats.
Mahmoud dreamed of becoming a teacher. He dreamed of filling classrooms with the voices of students and their dreams. But war leaves no space for dreams. Due to the constant bombing and the siege placed on their region, Mahmoud lost his chance at education. His home’s walls are not only shelter but have also become a prison for his hopes.
As for Layan, the young girl in her prime, she dreamed of becoming a doctor to help those suffering from pain and illness. But with the absence of security and the halt of daily life, her school is no longer a place for learning but has become a threat.
Despite all they’ve been through, there is still light in their hearts. That light is the hope that one day, they will return to their schools and live a better life. But they need your help. They need your support to live with dignity and to keep their dreams alive.
Now, Mahmoud and Layan call for your solidarity. They are not the only ones in this situation. Many children and young people in conflict zones face the same challenges. With your donations, we can bring life back to their hopes. You can help provide basic food supplies, healthcare, and also fund education for children who have lost their chance to learn due to the circumstances.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in the lives of those suffering.
When our hearts unite, we create a better world. Let’s extend a helping hand to Mahmoud, Layan, and all the children who still have dreams despite all the hardships.
