Every day brings new challenges: constant shelling, difficulty obtaining food and water, and schools closed due to the siege. Yet, in the midst of this darkness, hope still beats.

Mahmoud dreamed of becoming a teacher. He dreamed of filling classrooms with the voices of students and their dreams. But war leaves no space for dreams. Due to the constant bombing and the siege placed on their region, Mahmoud lost his chance at education. His home’s walls are not only shelter but have also become a prison for his hopes.

As for Layan, the young girl in her prime, she dreamed of becoming a doctor to help those suffering from pain and illness. But with the absence of security and the halt of daily life, her school is no longer a place for learning but has become a threat.
