Support Mahi's Fight for Justice

Hi. My name is Mohammed Yousuf. I am fundraising for my nephew Mahi who is a victim in a horrific crime committed against him. The incident happened in Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. They had to give him several blood transfusions to keep him alive. All I ask if you all can help my nephew get through this difficult time. If anyone knows someone powerful in Bangladesh that can push on this case please reach out to me? Thank you all for taking time to read what horrific crime that was committed. Below is the event that had occurred on that day.

On Sunday June 25, 2024 Mahi was told by the perpetrator in school the he can help him find his lost phone that was stolen 7 months ago. To retrieve his phone he will have to meet him after school. The perpetrator is in his 9th grade class and both have been in the same class since 2nd grade. Mahi went to the perpetrator’s house and he took him to different building stated phone was over there. At the building they sprayed something on his face to make him unconscious. There were three perpetrators at the time and they hit and kick him while he was unconscious. After he was beaten the perpetrators took his new phone. The perpetrators decided that Mahi knew who they were and decided that they were going to kill him. They went and bought single edge cutting razor blades from the store and started to cut through his neck and shoulder. At same time his mother had gut feeling something is not right and can’t reach him on his phone and started searching for him. As the Mahi’s mother searching for him several people in neighborhood said they saw him go with the perpetrator on a taxi. Mahi’s mother went to perpetrators house and perpetrators family denies Mahi coming over. Mahi’s mother went to prescient and brought cops over for investigation at perpetrators house. As the bleeding started to get more and more heavily the perpetrators left him thinking he would die bleeding out. About 1 hour and 30 minutes later he became conscience and found himself on second floor abandoned building. The perpetrators were at home doing as if nothing happened when Mahi’s mother was there with the police. Mahi at building fighting for his life slowly dragged himself down the stairs because he could not lift his head and made his way out of the building and on to the road. He started begging people to help him and many people did not. A taxi driver saw and brought two other passengers with him to help Mahi. They took Mahi in taxi try to get him to a hospital. While he was bleeding out in taxi the taxi driver asked him if he remembered any family member’s phone number and he remembered his mother phone number and taxi driver called. His mother picked up and ran to the location. As his mother saw the neck opened up and bleeding out and she wrapped his neck with scarf and took him to hospital. At hospital they would not admit him until cop’s arrived and wrote the report. After report he was admitted and surgeries to stitch up his veins and neck. He is in intensive care. The family hopes that you can pray for his recovery and help bring these perpetrators to justice. As of today only one protector was apprehended.
