Mahina has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) — an aggressive form of blood cancer that requires immediate and long-term treatment. In her case, the disease is linked to very rare genetic mutations, almost never seen in people her age — occurring in only 1 out of 6 million cases. Because of this, treatment becomes especially complex and unpredictable, requiring a personalized approach, constant monitoring, and high-cost therapies. Mahina is fighting with incredible strength, faith, and light, continuing to inspire all young people who are facing this difficult illness — through her resilience and patience.
