We want to share with you the story of Mahan a gifted young man, a fighter since childhood, and a soul full of music and hope.

At the age of just four, Mahan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, an autoimmune disease in which the pancreas stops producing insulin a hormone that regulates blood sugar. This isn’t the kind of diabetes managed with just diet or pills. For people like Mahan, it means a lifelong dependence on insulin and a constant, delicate balancing act between life and danger.

Over the years, Mahan’s condition has become severely unstable. He suffers from hypoglycemic seizures sudden, life threatening episodes caused by a rapid drop in blood sugar. Without immediate medical intervention, these episodes can lead to loss of consciousness, brain injury, or even death.

That’s why Mahan must be monitored 24/7, day and night, often by his family especially when he sleeps or is studying alone. One missed sign of low blood sugar could be fatal.

His parents have been his tireless guardians, standing by his side for 17 years, sacrificing everything financially, emotionally, physically. But today, they are no longer able to afford the expensive medical equipment that can keep their son safe and alive.

Mahan urgently needs the Medtronic MiniMed 780G insulin pump system, a smart hybrid closed-loop device that acts like an artificial pancreas.
