Hi everyone! For those of you that don't know, my name is Mahamma and I am a music artist from Massachusetts. I am currently pursuing higher education at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA (I start this Fall, eeep!) for their two year Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.

Since high school, I've always had a passion for people and their stories, their challenges and finding ways I can help (even though my little high school self knew nothing, haha). I have my undergrad in music therapy which helped me blend two of my loves, music and psychology. But I've come to a point in my life where I really want to dig even deeper into the psychology realm and answer all the why's, how's, what's and who's.

For the past 4 years living in Atlanta, I've been pursuing my artistry full-time. I've taken on unorthodox jobs, (countless hospitality jobs, giving music lessons to kids and adults, and wedding singer) alongside my music to help sustain myself. I will continue to work in these fields to financially stay afloat, but because of this addition of higher education, I need aid in paying for school! The $25,000 I am fundraising will go towards my remaining tuition for the two years of attendance (after federal loans and grant money) as well as school supplies and fees.

Music is and will always be my first love. Pursuing a higher education in something different than my undergrad (but also very similar), does not mean it’s being shelved! I will continue to perform, create and release music because I am always an artist, even when I work on something new.

Being a counselor has been a big dream of mine that I didn't know I could have for myself. Now that I'm here, pursuing it, I pray that you can help me get to the finish line!
