Hello everyone— I am using this platform on behalf of my older sister, Mahal Liu.

Earlier this month, Mahal was diagnosed with lymphoma, a strain of cancer targeting the lymphatic system.

The devastation of this news is indescribable.

Mahal is the glue in our family. She is kind, passionate, and endearing. Mahal understands how to love others deeply; to value connection above everything else in life.

Every person who meets Mahal notes that she makes a lasting impression. She is the first to comfort, make a joke, share a poem, or make a long drive for a friend.

Your contribution will assist with Mahal’s medical bills. As well, our family will be doing everything we can to support Mahal’s treatment- taking time off work to attend her chemotherapy sessions, assisting with chores, cooking meals, walking her dog (Murphy) and more.
