Support Magnolia's Recovery

Following a critical period for Magnolia of recovery and support, her and her family face a challenging journey as she prepares to undergo essential treatment with specialist doctors in Adelaide over the next 8-12 weeks. This phase will require dedicated medical care, physiotherapy, and ongoing support to ensure her wellbeing and get this young woman back home to family.

Magnolia is non-verbally responding to family and looking around seeking out her baby sisters when they visit. Family have relocated from Ntaria (Hermannsburg) to Alice Springs to be by her side. They now have notice that she needs more support to get back to the vibrant and joyful young woman that we all know.

Initially there will be support from PATS (Patient Assistant Travel Scheme) for Magnolia’s Grandmother travel to be with her, offering comfort and care. Magnolia’s Mum Mandy, Dad and sisters plan to travel to be by her side. They are navigating the costs of hospital stays, accommodation, food, and additional supports—ensuring Magnolia has everything she needs during this difficult time.

Family is at the heart of healing, and she needs a solid support system around her. Any contribution—big or small—will help ease the financial strain and allow Magnolia’s family to focus on what matters most: her recovery.
