Our friend Maggie, whom we have known for many years, is in dire need for monetary assistance. She was diagnosed recently with ovary cancer, which has spread to her colon too. She is a resident of Tijuana, Mexico, and she does not have a visa. All her medical care has been done in Tijuana.

Maggie is a teacher by trade and worked teaching classes to school kids for many years. Then she decided to stay home to raise her daughter, her proud and joy, who inherited her mother's love for art, books, cinema and rock music.

Because the disease has spread to other organs, Maggie is in urgent need of an operation to remove her ovary and colon, for her to have a chance for life.

We ask everyone that is able to pitch in, to please help us raise these funds for our friend. Remember that no matter how small the amount, every little bit helps!
