My name is Maggie, and asking for help like this is not easy. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but right now I’m facing a situation that I can’t get through without support.

I have been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. My treatment and recovery cause significant physical and mental side effects, including fatigue, pain, and difficulty concentrating. Because of this, I am not supposed to be working; however, due to my circumstances and against my doctor’s recommendations, I am still working in order to pay for my treatment. I would like to follow my doctor’s advice, which is to focus on treatment and recovery. I am a single mom to three beautiful children.

Because of this, I am dealing with unexpected expenses and challenges that have made it difficult to stay afloat. The funds raised will go directly toward medical bills and living expenses.
