Anyone who knew Gary Krug knows that he was the type of person to drop everything to help a friend in need. Those of us who were recipients of his generous and gregarious nature are now in a position to pay it forward by helping Maggie with costs related to his end of life care and final expenses.

Gary and his partner, Maggie Krug, retired to Belize in 2018, but their retirement dreams were cut short, partly by the pandemic, but mostly by a dementia diagnosis which led, eventually, to drastic changes in Gary's memory and personality. Although these changes compromised Maggie's personal safety and significantly altered their relationship, she did her best to care for Gary until his final passing in March of 2025.

Maggie, along with her daughter Savannah, is now living and working in Mexico after moving there for Gary's end of life care. Unfortunately, their medical claims were denied by insurance as the result of preexisting conditions. In addition, Maggie needs to hire legal counsel in order to settle their estate.
