Our father, Magdaleno Damian, is a 62-year-old single father of two daughters and the strongest man we know. In March 2025, he was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure and now undergoes dialysis three times a week. Despite the exhaustion and pain, he continues to work tirelessly to provide for our family, always putting others before himself.

Recently, we received the blessing of learning that one of his daughters is a direct kidney donor match. This gives him a chance at a healthier life, but it also means he will need to take six months off work to recover. As the main source of income in our household, this is incredibly difficult. Both of his daughters will also need to take a leave of absence from work and school: one to donate her kidney, and the other to care for them both throughout recovery.

Magdaleno has always opened his heart and arms to anyone in need. Even now, after spending four hours in dialysis three times a week, he still pushes himself to go to work just to provide for his family.
