Our La Plazita community is heartbroken by the passing of Maestra Dinora, who lost her battle to Cancer on March 24, 2025. She is a beloved teacher who dedicated many years to nurturing and educating children in three Plazita centers. She began her teaching journey at La Plazita 35th Ave, later transferred to La Plazita MacArthur, and then from March 2023 until May 2024 at La Plazita San Leandro Blvd, when she had to take medical leave.

In this difficult time, we want to come together to support her sister, Maestra Blanca, who is a current cherished head teacher in Grupo Azul at La Plazita San Leandro Blvd. Maestra Blanca is facing funeral expenses, and we hope to ease her burden by raising funds to help with these costs.
